The Gift of the Business Name

iNFiNiOM is the business name and brand for a UK based intuitive Usui Reiki energy healing service and its physical products. The business name 'iNFiNiOM' was given to me by my SGT Spiritual Guide Team and the following week they revealed that my business name had been infused with light. ✴︎

I like how the name includes the Infinity; a visual figure of eight symbol
ထ with a shared spiritual significance across cultures and belief systems. It symbolizes the interconnectedness of all things, the eternal and the cycle of life and death, and also represents boundlessness; including our own boundless innate potential to heal our body, mind and spirit. The name also includes the word Om; the westernized transliteration of the sacred Sanskrit sound 'aum, which is the primordial sound from which all of creation emerged. It is the essence of all life.
The word also includes three letter i's - representing the third eye, which is a chakra located in the forehead. This energy centre relates to the pineal gland and our psychic ability.
I use the infinity symbol in the logo but also draw the symbol above the client's body prior to starting Reiki healing.

MY BACKGROUND

When clients start searching for a practitioner, I know it can be helpful to read about their background and grasp a sense of whether this person might be the right match. So here's my capsule story.

I live in southern England. I love time in nature, animals, photography, art and craft activities, exercise, meditation, and anything to do with health and wellbeing. I enjoy music, books, films, and spending time with friends.

My personal healing, spiritual path and life long affinity with animals brought me to Reiki healing. I had been intending to take the Reiki attunements and training since my 20's. This was inspired through my many experiences of receiving hands-on healing since age 16, plus several healers commented that while I was receiving healing, that I was also healing them. I also noticed how animals felt calmer when I touched them. But rather than dive right in, I felt it would be wise and respectful to others, to first address my own 'stuff', and delve deeper into clearing, so my biofield was healthier and beneficial to be around. So I spent a couple of decades on this. In Jungian psychology and astrology, the archetype of Chiron, the wounded healer, relates to the painful experiences in our life and how the healing process is not only transformational for ourselves, but helps us to feel empathy and compassion when others share their stories of trauma or illness. I have found this to be true. Healing and health have always been my key motivation, and so I delved even deeper into learning about and experiencing healing modalities, personal development and spirituality. A way of life that had blossomed in my late teens from the roots and shoots of my early childhood faith and broad spiritual education.  In my early years, my mother introduced me to other faiths and the power of prayer and thought. Both my mother and grandmother spent part of their career life as nurses and yoga teachers. The religious and dogmatic teachings of my Christian primary school and Sunday School were both character building but also triggered internal conflict between what I was being told and what felt True for me. I had many questions and these were the first moments of developing discernment. I would borrow books from my family and the library, learning about all sorts of fascinating esoteric subjects. Sacred sites and energy lines were a teenage interest, allopathic and alternative medicine, psychology and mindfulness including NLP and life coaching. After becoming ill again in my 20's, I switched to a healthier lifestyle and diet, and I loved learning about health supplements, herbs, self treating with these and homeopathic remedies, and trying a broad range of healing modalities and learning about energy. I feel this was a major element of my soul's life purpose. I am grateful to my mother and maternal grandmother for my broad spiritual education which helped me cope with many tough times throughout life. Also I'm thankful for the resilience and inner strength inherited from both sides of my family and spiritual bloodline. Although I have always been involved with creative pursuits, it was inevitable the University of Life Experience would lead me into energy healing. In mid-life, synchronicity led me to a wonderful Reiki teacher, Brighitta Moser-Clark. I took her professional accredited training in the Japanese and Western lineages of Usui Reiki.  My Faith, which I am usually private about, has been the most important part of my life, since early childhood. Helping me to feel supported, protected, hopeful, happy, contented and so much more; even in the midst's of illness, disability and traumas. With regard to the inclusion of intuition within my healing practice - I do feel such gratitude to have been blessed with clairs since a young age (clairaudience etc); still very much developing though. Plus something called a 'differentiated perception' that is intertwined with my 'sigma empathy'. My sensitivity and connection to nature allows me to feel the energy of plants, trees, places, animals and people. A connection that has been there since I was a little girl. It wasn't until mid-life that I started to meet kind and wise souls who were generous with sharing their knowledge; people who could gently guide me in managing these extra sensory aspects of my being. The natural world has always felt like food for my soul. I was fortunate to spend my formative years in a house adjacent to a small woodland and stream; which was sadly demolished to make way for a cul-de-sac. I then spent part of my childhood in South West England, within driving distance of the coast, three magical moorlands, Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moor, all with numerous sacred sites and springs, and beautiful clear rivers my siblings and I swam in. These days I love the combination of living near the sea, woodlands and rolling hills. But I am also close to vibrant urban centres that can re-charge and inspire me in different ways and bring me in to contact with other beautiful souls and groups. The year prior to the global pandemic crisis, Reiki brought another intense phase of spiritual awakening that has now eased in intensity and the path has opened out into a beautiful vista where key people from my past lives are walking in and new teachers are appearing. A special time of life indeed. Of course, growth is always ongoing and I continue to have a passion and commitment to my own personal healing, and Continuing Professional Development. I will share a list of training courses I have taken to support my practice; for those who like reading these details when choosing a potential practitioner. RELEVANT TRAINING - Usui Reiki Professional Accredited Licensed Practitioner Level 2 - Practitioner Consciousness led by Prune Harris (co-create a healing field to enable the transformation of clients., plus activate their template of health within their energy systems; so that the healing and transformation continues after the session.) - Studied the Trust Technique for working with nervous animals. - Tellington Touch for working with animals. - Recently became a Dragonfly Champion via training with the Dragonfly Project; an educational training in signposting clients who are experiencing DV, stalking or harassment, to support services in Sussex and Hampshire and enable them to make a plan. - After helping a potentially suicidal in-mate on his way home from prison release, I immediately took several online trainings with the Zero Suicide Alliance to upgrade my suicide awareness skills to include specific basic training about prisoners, veterans and students. - Animal Welfare & Behaviour with the Royal Veterinary School at the University of Edinburgh. - Equine Behaviour - Equine Care. WORKING WITH HUMAN CLIENTS

Daily meditation is part of my lifestyle. Being prone to daydreaming in my teens and 20's, I am glad to have finally developed present moment awareness and after decades of practice, now live predominantly in the moment.
Major life experiences like chronic illnesses, disability, limitation, traumas and external energy disruptors, enable me as a practitioner to feel compassion and empathy. I am very welcoming of clients who need to trust in someone open-minded, or, they gave up on Reiki in the past, due to sessions with a practitioner who neglected to practice spiritual hygiene/protection.

For example: I work with clients who have not been 'believed'. A situation in their past where they were judged, their experience minimised, they felt they were not believed. and people told them to get over it and move on. Betrayed or ostracized. This scenario can include trauma from experiences within spiritual communities, stalking by proxy/gang-stalking, sexual abuse, gaslighting. Business situations: being framed, unfair dismissal, review bombing or sabotage by rivals. Situations of going missing and lost time. Clients paranormal encounters. I am open-minded, with discernment and feet on the ground, but also have the capacity to hear your unusual experiences and not react with the disbelief you may have encountered from others in your past.

Clients are welcome to share as much or as little about their situation in the email they send to accompany their booking. If you wish to send a long document I am happy to read. If you wish to be private and just share your name only, that is fine too. I am familiar with the many ways our boundaries, beliefs and truths become amazing growth stages, as we awaken to our selves, our world and purpose. Many clients turn to healing while navigating these times of growth, shedding, redirection and rebirth. Wherever you are at the moment, energy healing can be there to bring you back into balance. If you've never tried energy healing before and find it hard to believe in things you cannot see, it can be helpful to read about energy healing and quantum physics to start understanding the biofield. I look forward to meeting you and working together,

Love Suzanne
