Cetacean Stranding Distant Reiki Support

Service Description

FREE distant Reiki offered for calm, comfort and gentle energetic support during a cetacean stranding or entanglement emergency. When a whale, dolphin or porpoise becomes stranded, injured or entangled, I can offer distant Reiki with the intention of providing a calm and comforting energetic presence while trained marine-mammal rescuers attend and assess the animal. The purpose of the session is not to rescue or medically treat the cetacean, but to offer gentle complementary support during what may be an extremely stressful experience. Where an animal appears injured or distressed, Reiki is offered with the intention of supporting relaxation, comfort and easing distress alongside the physical care being provided by appropriately trained responders. Animal choice and agency Respect for the animal is fundamental to the way I work. I offer Reiki rather than imposing it. If, intuitively, I feel that an animal is not receptive to the treatment, I respect that and do not continue. The cetacean remains at the centre of the session and nothing is forced upon them. Requesting emergency Reiki support Please do not book an appointment through the online calendar. Instead, email me as soon as possible and put EMERGENCY — CETACEAN STRANDING in the subject line. I will fit the distant session around my existing appointments wherever possible. If available, please include: • a photograph or link to a news report • the location of the stranding • a What3words location • any information you have about the animal's condition • whether a marine-mammal rescue organisation has already been contacted Please do not delay contacting professional rescuers in order to gather this information for me. A photograph and precise location are helpful for my distant Reiki work, but they are not essential if they are unavailable. Reiki supports — rescuers rescue Distant Reiki is complementary support only. It is not a life-saving treatment and must never replace or delay specialist marine-mammal rescue, veterinary assessment or emergency intervention. If you discover a stranded, injured or entangled whale, dolphin or porpoise in the UK, please contact British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) first and follow the advice of their trained marine-mammal responders.
